When you have recurrent infections and/or chronic diarrhea; when your health practitioner suspects an immunoglobulin deficiency; periodically to monitor a condition that affects immunoglobulin levels that may be genetic or acquired (HIV/AIDS,multiple myeloma)
What sample needed?
A blood sample drawn from a vein in your arm; sometimes a cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) or saliva sample
